Here’s a line from “Divine Divas” to start us off: “When you go to the movies, you always leave amazed by something.”“Vince Giordano: There’s a Future in the Past.” See it for the music and a profile of a fascinating man: musician, historian, swimmer against the tide. Brooklyn-based Giordano leads an 11-member big band that plays Hot Jazz from the 1920s and ’30s.
